Hero TV to Air Towa no Quon Anime Film Series Beginning on Sunday

Philippine television channel HERO TV announced on Thursday that it will air the Towa no Quon film series, beginning with the first two films on Sunday. Utakata no Kaben will air at 12:00 p.m., and Konton no Ranbu will air at 9:00 p.m.
The six-film series debuted in Japan throughout 2011.
The story of Towa no Quon follows a boy named Quon (Hiroshi Kamiya) and others who suddenly wake up with supernatural powers. Quon leads these superpowered "Attracters," urging them to unite to protect themselves and their kind from Kestos, the secret organization hunting them.
Takeshi Mori (Otaku no Video, Gunsmith Cats, Vandread) served as the anime's "collaborative director" in place of the late Umanosuke Iida (Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team, Hellsing), who passed away from lung cancer in November 2010 as he was planning the film series. BONES was in charge of animation production.
