Malaysian publisher Gempak Starz revealed last Friday and Saturday that it has licensed Enika Kani's Hakoniwa Royale and Kayoru's Akuma no Ichigo manga.

Hakoniwa Royale centers on two gamers with the aliases Leo and Mei, who meet in the titular online game "Hakoniwa Royale." Leo is renowned among players of the game, and Mei is his close companion. In real life, Leo is Ōtaka, the classmate of Mei's real-life player, Yōko. Yōko only knows about this because of her position as student council chairperson, and she is determined not to let Ōtaka find out.

Kani launched the manga in Hakusensha's LaLa DX magazine in 2013, and ended it in 2014. Hakusensha published two compiled book volumes for the series.

Akuma no Ichigo centers on Ichigo, a shy girl who wants nothing more in life except to sew and make clothes. But one day she catches the eye of one devilish boy at school, who persuades her to join a fashion show at their school's cultural festival, even though Ichigo doesn't really want to stand out.

Kayoru launched the manga in Shogakukan's Sho-Comi magazine in 2012, and ended it in 2013. Shogakukan published the manga's one compiled book volume in May 2013.
