Comico Appoints Ushio & Tora Editor Musha as Editor-in-Chief

Musha previously worked at Shogakukan for 30+ years
Former Shogakukan editor Masaaki Musha, perhaps best known as the original editor for Kazuhiro Fujita's Ushio & Tora manga, was appointed editor-in-chief of NHN PlayArt's comico app on May 1.
During his more than 30 years at Shogakukan, Musha also served as editor on Yōichi Komori and Shūhō Satō's Umizaru and Keiko Nishi's Otoko no Isshō and Ane no Kekkon.
Comico is a free manga- and novel-reading smartphone app. The comics appear with the pages scrolling vertically instead of two pages facing each other, as in a physical book. Titles that have serialized on comico include Yayoiso's ReLIFE, Kurose's momokuri, Shō Futamata's Nanbaka, and Rin Kokuyō's Neto-Jū no Susume (Recovery of an MMO Junkie).
