June 22 concert at Siloso Beach also features BAND-MAID

Singaporean events and marketing agency Sozo Pte. Ltd., the organizer of the Anime Festival Asia convention, announced on Thursday that it will hold a concert event titled "Natsu Rock" as part of its Japan Music Festival platform in Singapore on June 22. Do as Infinity, BAND-MAID, and Shiena Nishizawa will perform at the event.

The event will take place at Siloso Beach in Singapore and will be held in conjunction with the Five Beach Volleyball World Tour.

Do as Infinity formed in 1999, and is comprised of vocalist Tomiko Van, and guitarists Ryo Owatari and Dai Nagao. The band debuted with their "Tangerine Dream" single in 1999. In 2000, Nagao decided to focus on composing music for the band, and no longer appeared during live events. The band disbanded in 2005, but reformed in 2008, with Nagao not joining the band's revival. Before disbanding, the band released 20 singles and 12 studio, live, and compilation albums. After reuniting, the band released a further 11 singles and 12 more albums. The group have performed theme songs for such anime as Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust, Inuyasha, Zoids Genesis, InuYasha: The Final Act, Fairy Tail, and Juni Taisen.

Nishizawa debuted in February 2015 with her "Fubuki" single, the title song of which was used as the ending theme song for the Kan Colle television anime. She released her second single, "Brand-new World/Piacere," in November 2015. "Brand-new World" served as the opening theme song for The Asterisk War anime, while "Piacere" served as the ending theme song for Aria the Avvenire. The song "Cross," which appeared in the same single, was the ending theme song for the BAD APPLE WARS PlayStation Vita game. She released her third single "The Asterisk War," in May 2016. The title track served as the opening theme song for The Asterisk War anime's second season, while the coupling track "Brilliant Star" is the theme song for the A.W. : Phoenix Festa game based on the anime. Her fourth single, "Kikan," shipped in November 2016. The title song served as the theme song for the Kantai Collection: KanColle anime film. Her fifth and latest single, "LOVE MEN HOLIC," shipped on February 21, and served as the theme song for the Ms. Koizumi loves ramen noodles anime.

The all-girl Japanese band BAND-MAID formed in 2013. The band is notable for their performance costumes based on maid outfits from Japanese maid cafes. The band has released five albums and three singles.
