Dragon Ball Legends Smartphone Game Launches, Trailer Streamed

Bandai Namco Entertainment began streaming a trailer for its Dragon Ball Legends smartphone game on Friday. The game launched for Android devices on May 17 in the United States, May 21 in Europe, May 24 in Japan, Korea, and Taiwan, and May 28 globally. It also launched for iOS on Friday.
The game features one-vs-one "card action battles" with one-finger tap mechanics. Players will take on the role of a new character designed by Akira Toriyama for an original story, and will be able to compete against opponents worldwide. The game will have 3D graphics and be fully voiced.
The upcoming Dragon Ball Super film will collaborate with the game.
Bandai Namco Entertainment announced its Dragon Ball Z Bucchigiri Match smartphone game last September. The company's Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle smartphone game launched in 2015.
