Sangatsu no Phantasia performs fall series' opening theme song

The official website for the television anime of matoba's As Miss Beelzebub Likes (Beelzebub-jō no Okinimesu Mama.) manga revealed two mini character promotional videos, the second key visual, and the theme song artists on Friday. The promotional videos preview the characters Beelzebub and Murin. (Note: The videos on the official website are region-locked to Japan.)

Sangatsu no Phantasia (Slow Start, Kiznaiver theme songs) is performing the opening theme song, and the ending theme song will be a character song.

The anime's second promotional video will debut with additional cast information on August 20.

The anime will premiere in October.

Rikuya Yasuda (Cute High Earth Defense Club HAPPY KISS!' Taishi Manza) stars in the series as Murin, and Saori Ōnishi (Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?'s Aiz Wallenstein) stars as Beelzebub.

Minato Kazuto (Akashic Records of Bastard Magical Instructor) is directing the anime at LIDEN FILMS. Yoriko Tomita (Blood Blockade Battlefront & Beyond, Puzzle & Dragons X scriptwriter) is both overseeing and writing the series scripts. Etsuko Sumimoto (Tsuredure Children, Yuri Kuma Arashi) is designing the characters for animation, and Satoshi Motoyama (Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters, Haganai) is the sound director. Singer Kanon Wakeshima (theme songs for Vampire Knight, Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?) and naotyu- (Nisekoi - False Love, Isuca) are composing the music.

Yen Press is publishing the manga in North America, and it describes the story:

Murin's lands his dream job with the demon king he's always held in awe, but when his tenure begins, it turns out the demon king isn't quite what he expected...

The artist matoba launched the manga in Monthly Shonen Gangan in July 2015. Square Enix published the manga's seventh compiled book volume in Japan on April 21, and the eighth volume will ship on September 21. Yen Press published the manga's second compiled book volume on June 26, and the third volume will ship on September 18.
