Elex Media Licenses Let's Dance a Waltz, A Meal Makes Her Forget

Indonesian publisher Elex Media Komputindo announced last Friday that it has licensed Natsumi Ando's Let's Dance a Waltz (Waltz no Ojikan) Jun Abe's A Meal Makes Her Forget (Bōkyaku no Sachiko), and Chika Iwa's This is My First Love (Konna Hatsukoi).
The Let's Dance a Waltz manga revolves around a boy who has lost interest in ballroom dancing for a certain reason and is instead distracted by the latest dancing fad, and a plain girl who has a hidden desire to change herself. The two youths who were destined to meet grow into adulthood together through ballroom dancing.
Ando launched the manga in Kodansha's Nakayoshi shōjo manga magazine in December 2012, and ended it in 2014. Kodansha published three compiled book volumes for the manga.
Elex Media previously published all 12 volumes of Ando's Arisa manga in Indonesia.
The A Meal Makes Her Forget gourmet comedy manga centers on Sachiko Sasaki, a 29-year-old editor of a literary magazine. At work, she has a respected reputation as a strict perfectionist, but on her wedding day, her husband-to-be Shungo runs away on her. Now Sachiko seeks out gourmet food in order to forget about Shungo.
Abe launched the manga in Shogakukan's Big Comic Spirits magazine in August 2014. Shogakukan published the manga's 10th compiled book volume in June 2017.

The manga inspired a live-action television special on January 2, starring Mitsuki Takahata as the protagonist Sachiko. It is also getting a full live-action series adaptation that will premiere in October, again starring Takahata.

Iwa launched the one-shot anthology series in Shueisha's Margaret magazine in 2012, and ended it in July of the same year. Shueisha published one compiled book volume for the anthology.
