Alice in Murderland Manga Ends Serialization Next Month

posted on by Karen Ressler
Angel Sanctuary's Kaori Yuki launched manga in 2014

Manga artist Kaori Yuki (Angel Sanctuary, Godchild) announced on Thursday that her Alice in Murderland manga has one chapter remaining. If the manga does not take a break, it will end in the October issue of Kodansha's Shonen Magazine Edge on September 15.

Yuki already promised that the manga will end with the 11th compiled book volume.

Yen Press is publishing the series in North America, and it released the eighth volume on April 10. The company describes the story:

The Mad Tea Party...To members of the elite house of Kuonji, a clan whose name has incredible pull all over the world, this monthly gathering is the only tried and true (not to mention mandatory) family tradition. But one such family reunion brings with it some unexpected and horrific news for the nine Kuonji siblings, and it comes straight from the lips of their mother Olga. To become the next head of their illustrious family, the siblings must fight each other to the death! As chaos erupts, Stella, the fourth daughter, loses it, and suddenly a whole new Stella, complete with blonde hair and blue dress, comes out to play?!

Yuki launched Alice in Murderland (Kakei no Alice) in Kodansha's Aria magazine in 2014. The magazine's final issue shipped in April, so the manga moved to Shonen Magazine Edge in July. The series is also available on Kodansha and pixiv's new "Palcy" manga app. Kodansha shipped the 10th volume on June 7.
