Kenichi Sonoda to Attend Anime Central for Bean Bandit Episode 0 Premiere

The official website for the Anime Central convention announced on Friday that it will host Kenichi Sonoda for the world premiere of Bean Bandit episode 0.
Sonoda ran a successful Kickstarter campaign in May and June to fund the Bean Bandit anime. The project will meld elements of Riding Bean and Gunsmith Cats, and like these previous works it will take place in Chicago. Sonoda is directing the anime. Staff members include animator Shujirou Hamakawa and supervisor Showji Murahama.
Sonoda designed a number of ARTMIC projects including Bubblegum Crisis and Gall Force before creating Riding Bean and later Gunsmith Cats.
Anime Central 2019 will take place from May 17-19 at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare and Donald E. Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois.
