Level 5, Netmarble Announce Yo-Kai Watch Medal Wars Smartphone Game

Level 5 and Netmarble announced the Yo-kai Watch Medal Wars smartphone game on Monday. The "Yo-kai battle role-playing game" will feature an original story, and will be free to play with in-game purchases.
Netmarble's subsidiary Netmarble Monsters is developing the game. The game's story revolves around the "Ōja Medal." Players will be able to customize their own avatars to play as the game's protagonist, and will be able to train Yo-kai. In addition, the game will feature player battles, augmented reality functionality, and a picture mode where players can take pictures and share them with friends.
Level 5 will feature the game at its booth at Tokyo Game Show next week, and the booth will also have a demo for the game.
