Bloom Into You Anime Adds 6 Cast Members

The official website for the television anime of Nio Nakatani's Bloom Into You (Yagate Kimi ni Naru) yuri manga revealed more cast for the anime on Friday.

The site also revealed that the anime will have four Blu-ray Disc and DVD releases in Japan, and it lists 13 episodes for the anime. The Blu-ray Disc and DVD releases are slated for December 21, January 30, February 27, and March 27.

The show will premiere on Friday, October 5 on AT-X, Tokyo MX, Sun TV, KBS Kyoto, TV Aichi, TVQ Kyushu, and BS11. HIDIVE will stream the series as it airs in Japan. Sentai Filmworks licensed the anime.

HIDIVE describes the story:

Yuu loves shoujo manga and waits for a love confession to make her feel like a character from her favorite stories but when a classmate admits his feelings, she feels nothing. Time passes and Yuu begins high school feeling lost and confused. Things begin to look up when she witnesses Nanami, the beautiful student council president, effortlessly turn down a boy. Yuu reaches out to Nanami for help and the two quickly become friends. Yuu's heart is suddenly sent aflutter when the next person to confess their feelings is Nanami! Is Yuu's own shoujo romance finally beginning?

Makoto Katō (Beautiful Bones -Sakurako's Investigation-) is directing the anime at TROYCA (Aldnoah.Zero, Re:CREATORS). Jukki Hanada (Sound! Euphonium, Love Live!, A Place Further Than the Universe) is supervising and writing the scripts. Hiroaki Gohda (Amagami SS, Love, Election and Chocolate) is designing the characters. Michiru Oshima (Fullmetal Alchemist, Little Witch Academia, Night is Short, Walk On Girl) is composing the music.

Singer-songwriter Riko Azuna is performing the opening theme song "Kimi ni Furete" (Touched by You), and voice actresses Yūki Takada and Minako Kotobuki are performing the ending theme song "hectopascal" as their respective characters.

Nakatani launched the manga in Monthly Comic Dengeki Daioh in April 2015. Kadokawa published the manga's sixth volume on September 27. The manga has more than 700,000 copies in print in Japan. Seven Seas Entertainment shipped the manga's fifth volume in English on August 14.
