1st volume of My Chubby Boyfriend slated for November 7, Crazy for You on November 18

Indonesian publisher M&C! is listing releases for Ayumi Komura's My Chubby Boyfriend (Mori no Takuma-san) and Karuho Shiina's Crazy for You manga. The first volume of My Chubby Boyfriend is slated for November 7, while the first volume of Crazy for You is slated for November 18.

My Chubby Boyfriend centers on Karin, a girl who dreams of falling in love with a man like a prince. Although she has trouble finding a guy who meets her idealized standards, Karin's mother finally sets her up with the son of a company president. The description of Takuma seems to fit Karin's standards. However, when she meets him, Karin finds out that Takuma is overweight. The two realize they knew each other as children, and Takuma asks Karin to marry him. She turns Takuma down but decides she does want to spend more time with him.

Komura launched the series in Shueisha's Margaret magazine in October 2015, and ended it in November 2016. Shueisha published four compiled book volumes for the manga.

Komura launched a new manga titled Kare Cafe in Margaret's sister magazine The Margaret on February 24.

M&C! describes Crazy for You:

Sachi is a high school student who is always cheerful and bright. She has never dated another person in her entire life, but she hopes to experience a beautiful love story with a happy ending. One day, Sachi's friend Akemi invited her on a blind date! There she met Yuki and fell in love at first sight, but for some reason, Akemi is opposed to the entire thing.

The manga ran in Shueisha's Betsuma magazine from 2003 to 2005, and Shueisha published six compiled book volumes for the manga.

Shiina began the Kimi ni Todoke manga in Shueisha's Bessatsu Margaret in 2006 and ended it last November. Shueisha published the manga's 30th and final compiled book volume on March 23. The series has consistently ranked among the top-selling manga in Japan. The manga inspired two seasons of a television anime and a live-action film.
