Kemono Friends 2 Gets Manga Adaptation

The February issue of Kadokawa's Monthly Shōnen Ace magazine announced on Wednesday that Kemono Friends 2, the Kemono Friends anime's second season, will get its own manga adaptation beginning in the next issue on January 26. Ryū Naitō is drawing the series.
The anime will premiere on January 7. The new season's story begins with Serval and Caracal finding a "human" child in the forest. As they travel with the child, they meet new Friends, uncover the secrets of Japari Park, and become involved in an event that will "shake the earth."
Ryuichi Kimura (Aikatsu!) is directing the anime at Tomason. Takuya Masumoto is writing and supervising the series' scripts. Hideo Taniguchi (Folktales from Japan) is the CG director. Nobuyuki Abe returns as the sound director. Yasuyuki Konno is credited for sound effects. Akiyuki Tateyama returns as the music composer. Shinnosuke Numata is credited as animation producer.
