Viz Media releases manga in English

The combined third and fourth issues of Shueisha's Margaret magazine revealed on Friday that Suu Morishita will end her Shortcake Cake manga in two more chapters. Morishita serializes the manga once a month, so if the manga does not take any breaks, it will end in the seventh issue on March 5.

Morishita (Hibi Chōchō) launched the Shortcake Cake manga in Shueisha's Margaret magazine in November 2015, and Shueisha published the manga's 10th volume on October 25.

Viz Media is releasing the manga in English and it published the second volume on November 6. The company will release the third volume on February 5. Viz Media describes the story:

Ten Serizawa has a two-hour commute through the mountains to high school every day, so she can't spend much time hanging out with her friends in the afternoon. She decides to move into the local boardinghouse, where one of her friends and three other boys are living. Ten's friends consider her to be as oblivious as a rock when it comes to noticing boys and falling in love, but will she be able to keep her calm and steady heart in her new living situation?

Morishita launched a new manga titled Hoshokukei Heroine ni Ato 1-nen Inai ni Taberaremasu (I Will Be Eaten by a Predatory Heroine Within the Next Year) on Square Enix's Gangan Online website on November 12. She also launched a new manga titled Wakamen ~The Mineral Boys~ in the February issue of Kodansha's Nakayoshi magazine on December 28.
