Staff, cast return for animation based on Chinese web comic

The official website for Hora, Mimi ga Mieteru yo! (Look, I Can See Your Ears!), the television animation of a Chinese web comic, revealed on Friday that the series has a second season that will premiere on AT-X on April 5 at 10:30 p.m. The site also revealed a new visual for the second season.

Ayumu Murase and Yūma Uchida return as Myō (pictured right in above image) and Daisū (left), respectively.

Chiaki Sugano (animation director ID-0, BBK/BRNK) also returns as director and producer for the animation. The studio monofilmo is credited again as both the animation studio and as the scriptwriter. Hiroshi Chikasada is again the sound director at Alchemy Bros.

The first season premiered first in China on the bilibili streaming service in August. It then premiered on TV on AT-X and online in Japan last October.

The series follows Daisū, a manga creator who grew up in an orphanage, and whose works do not sell very well. Daisū lives each lonely day in boredom, but one day he meets a young man named Myō who has cat ears, and his everyday life completely changes. Myō gets in trouble every day, but for the first time in his life, Daisū's heart experiences "warmth." The story follows their everyday comical life together while slowly unraveling the mystery of Myō.

The original webcomic serializes on the "Man Man Manga" website.
