Dead or Alive Xtreme Venus Vacation Game Releases in English for PC via Steam in Southeast Asia

Game is free to play, with purchasable in-game items.

Koei Tecmo Games released an English version of its Dead or Alive Xtreme Venus Vacation game for the PC via Steam on Tuesday. Koei Tecmo Games made no prior announcement for the game's release. As with the Japanese PC browser version of the game, the Steam version is free to play but players can use in-game currency to purchase items.

Tech website Motherboard reported on Thursday that the game supposedly has features removed in this version, including a "groping" feature, but ANN has not independently verified the report. The game is also supposedly region-locked to Southeast Asia, but ANN has also not verified that information. ANN can confirm that the game is available in several Southeast Asian countries such as Singapore, Hong Kong, and the Philippines, and is not available in countries such as Japan, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

Koei Tecmo Games released the game as a browser game for PC in Japan in November 2017.

Koei Tecmo Games published Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 exclusively in Japan and Asia for the PS4 and PlayStation Vita in March 2016. The game's PS Vita version is titled Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 Venus, and the PS4 version is titled Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 Fortune. A PS VR support update for the PS4 version launched in January 2017. Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 Scarlet, a version of the game for PS4 and Switch, shipped on March 20.

Tecmo released the Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball game on the Xbox in North America, Japan, and Europe in 2003. In the game, players play as one of the women from the Dead or Alive fighting game series and partake in volleyball matches as well as other beach-related minigames and shopping. Tecmo released a sequel, Dead or Alive Xtreme 2, on the Xbox 360 in North America, Japan, and Europe in 2006.
