Designer joined SIE in 2004, worked on Work Time Fun, The Last Guy, Rain, The Tomorrow Children

Game designer Nobuki Nagai announced on his Twitter account that he had left Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE) as of March 31. He noted that his health had deteriorated last summer, so he had originally planned to leave the company last fall, but circumstances forced him to leave in March. He added that he has since recovered.

Nagai offered three notable memories from his time at SIE. The first was working on the PSP game Work Time Fun (Baito Hell 2000). The second was working on the PlayStation 3 game The Last Guy. The third was working on "J Sta to Asobō" (Come Play With Japan Studio)., a regular live stream program that he co-hosted for three years.

Nagai started in SIE in 2004 while working on the PS2 title Kōfuku Sōsakan. Before that, he previously worked as director and planner for the first three Monster Rancher titles, and also worked on the Unison: Rebels of Rhythm & Dance game. Later in SIE, he was also a producer for such titles as Rain, Tokyo Jungle, and The Tomorrow Children.
