TsukiPro Franchise's S.Q.S Stage Plays Get 2nd Season

The final performance of Romeo -in the darkness-, Episode 3 of the Tsukino Talent Production (TsukiPro) franchise's SolidS & Quell on Stage (S.Q.S) stage play series, announced on Monday that the S.Q.S plays are getting a second season. The second season will include Episodes 4, 5, and 6.

Episode 4, Tsukino Empire 2 -Beginning of the World-, will be a sequel to the eighth Tsukiuta stage play TSUKINO EMPIRE -Unleash your mind.-. The play will run from September 26 to 29 at Chiba's Maihama Amphitheater. Fujiwara will direct and write the script for the new play. The play will star SolidS and QUELL with guest appearances by members of Six Gravity, Procellarum, SOARA and Growth. The play will also feature new original characters.

Episode 5 of the play series will run at Hulic Hall Tokyo from February 20 to March 1, 2020. Episode 6 will run at Tokyo Dome City Theatre G-Rosso from July 2 to 12, 2020.

The first S.Q.S stage play starring the SolidS and Quell groups ran in Tokyo in May 2018, and the second ran in November. The third episode's run opened on April 25 before concluding on Monday.

TSUKINO EMPIRE -Unleash your mind.- ran at Chiba's Maihama Amphitheater from March 27 to 31. The play starred the Six Gravity and Procellarum units and included guest appearances by SolidS and QUELL. The "Tsukino Empire" in the stage play's title is an alternate universe space opera side story for the franchise that was created for the Animate Girls Festival 2015 event.

The TsukiPro franchise has also spawned the TsukiPro the Animation television anime based on four of its groups: SOARA, Growth, SolidS, and QUELL. The anime premiered in October 2017, and Crunchyroll streamed the anime as it aired. The anime is getting a sequel. The franchise is also getting a live-action film.

Tsukiuta is part of the "2.5 dimensional" TsukiPro franchise. Tsukiuta has inspired vocal music CDs, duet CDs, drama CDs, and a 2016 television anime. The first Tsukiuta. THE ANIMATION television anime season premiered in Japan in July 2016. Funimation streamed the series as aired in Japan and released it on Blu-ray Disc. The anime will get a second season.
