Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box Smartphone Game Launches in English

Level 5 released Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box HD for Mobile (Layton Kyōju to Akuma no Hako EXHD for Smartphone), an iOS and Android port of the second Professor Layton game, in English on Thursday. The official YouTube channel for the Professor Layton franchise is streaming a trailer for the game.
The game launched in Japan last December.
The second Professor Layton game, Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box (Layton Kyōju to Akuma no Hako), debuted for Nintendo DS in Japan in 2007 and in North America and Europe in 2009. In Europe, the game is titled Professor Layton and Pandora's Box.
A smartphone port of the first game, Professor Layton and the Curious Village, debuted in June.
The newest game in the franchise, Layton's Mystery Journey: Katrielle and the Millionaires' Conspiracy (Layton Mystery Journey: Katriel to Daifugō no Inbō), debuted for iOS and Android in July 2017. The game also launched for Nintendo 3DS on the same day in Japan and in October 2017 in the West. An anime adaptation premiered in April 2018.
