Crunchyroll Expo announced on Monday that it will host voice actor Ryō Horikawa at this year's convention. He will participate in panels, autograph signings, and other events. Horikawa also attended the convention in 2018.

Horikawa is the president of the Aslead Company talent agency. He began his career in 1984 with the role of Hirono Kenta in Yume Senshi Wingman. Horikawa may be best known for voicing Vegeta in the Dragon Ball anime. His other voice roles include Detective Conan's Heiji Hattori, Saint Seiya's Shun Andromeda, Legend of the Galactic Heroes' Reinhard von Lohengramm, Gundam 0083's Kou Uraki, and Yū Yū Hakusho's Karasu.

Crunchyroll Expo will be held at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center in California from August 30 to September 1. Other Japanese guests include horror manga artist Junji Ito, voice actresses Yuu Asakawa and Miho Okasaki, Wit Studio's George Wada, and composer Yasuharu Takanashi. The Mob Psycho 100 anime's voice actor Setsuo Ito (voice of Mob), director Yuzuru Tachikawa, character designer Yoshimichi Kameda, and character designer Terumi Nishii will also attend this year's event. Music producers Teddyloid and HEAVYGRINDER will appear for the convention's kick-off party on August 29.
