Kodansha Reveals Spider-Man: Fake Red Manga

Original Spider-Man manga launches in summer

The official Twitter account for Kodansha's Manga Pocket app revealed on Thursday that it will launch a new manga titled Spider-Man: Fake Red (Spider-Man: Itsuwari no Aka) based on Marvel's Spider-Man character this summer. Marvel is supervising the manga's original story, and Yūsuke Ōsawa is drawing the manga.

The Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse film debuted in December, and won the Animated Feature Film award at the 91st Academy Awards. The Spider-Man: Far from Home film opened in Japan on Friday, before its U.S. premiere on July 2.
