Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online Released Monday

On Monday July 1, Anime Limited will release the first volume of Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online as a Collectors Blu-ray, including the first six episodes of the series, plus the bonus episode 5.5 "Refrain." The Collectors Blu-ray will also include a 28-page booklet and six art cards. Editions ordered from the Zavvi and AllTheAnime websites will come with a Collector's Art Book to store both volumes of the series, while stocks last/
The story follows Karen Kohiruimaki, a 183-centimeter-tall (6-foot-tall) college student who's insecure her height, and is bad at dealing with people in the real world. She enters the world of Gun Gale Online with her avatar, Llenn, who is less than 150 centimeters (5 feet) tall and wears all pink. She meets a beautiful, brown-skinned female player who goes by Pitohui. They hit it off, but one day Pitohui pressures her to participate in "Squad Jam," a team Battle Royale variation of the Bullet of Bullets tournament.
Masayuki Sakoi (Celestial Method, Princess Resurrection, Strawberry Panic!) directed the anime at Studio 3Hz (Flip Flappers, Princess Principal). Yousuke Kuroda (My Hero Academia, Gundam Build Fighters, Mobile Suit Gundam 00) was in charge of series composition and the script. Yoshio Kosakai (Chaos;HEAd, Needless) was chief animation director, and he also designed the characters based on Kouhaku Kuroboshi's original designs.
Manga Entertainment will release the second season of Overlord II (13 episodes) on Blu-ray and DVD. Manga describes the series as follows:
"The power to rule is in his bones. Bow before the great and powerful Ains Ooal Gown – the overlord returns!Continuing his quest to rule this new world, Ains begins to put the pieces in place for his conquest. But between a Lizard Man tribe uprising, and performing missions as adamantite adventurer Lord Momon, Ains has his work cut out for him! MVM will release a standard Blu-ray edition of the film Fate/stay night: Heaven's Feel I. presage flower.
