Vertical Licenses A Trail of Blood, Daily Lives of High School Boys Manga

Vertical announced at it and Kodansha Comics' panel at Anime Expo on Saturday that it has licensed the A Trail of Blood and Daily Lives of High School Boys manga for physical release. The company has also licensed The Great Cleric, The Slime Diaries: That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, Goodbye! I'm Being Reincarnated!, and The Knight Cartoonist and Her Orc Editor manga for digital release.

Vertical also announced that NisiOisin's Bakemonogatari novels will have audiobook releases, with the first part in fall 2019, and the second and third parts in 2020. The first part of the Owarimonogatari novels will also ship in October.

Shūzō Oshimi's A Trail of Blood (Chi no Wadachi) manga will debut in English in early 2020. Vertical describes the manga:

Ordinary middle school student Seiichi Osabe receives love and care from his mother Seiko. Until one summer an incident changes the family dynamic forever.

Oshimi launched the manga in Shogakukan's Big Comic Superior magazine in February 2017. Shogakukan published the manga's fifth compiled book volume on February 28, and will publish the sixth volume on August 30.

Oshimi launched the Flowers of Evil manga in Kodansha's Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine in 2009 and ended the series in the June 2014 issue. Vertical published the manga in North America, and Crunchyroll streamed the anime adaptation as it aired in Japan in 2013. Sentai Filmworks released the anime on home video in 2014. The manga is inspiring a live-action film adaptation that will open on September 27.

Oshimi's Inside Mari manga ran in Futabasha's Manga Action magazine from 2012 to September 2016. Crunchyroll began publishing the manga series online in December 2013. Oshimi launched the manga Happiness in 2015, and ended it on March 9. Kodansha Comics publishes the manga in English.

Yasunobu Yamauchi's Daily Lives of High School Boys (Danshi Kōkōsei no Nichijō) manga will debut in English in early 2020. Vertical describes the manga:

High school boys, be fools!

Follow the bizarre adventures of Tadakuni, Hidenori and Yoshitake at the all boys, Sanada North High School.

This is a high school slice of life comedy that will keep you laughing.

Yamauchi launched the in manga in Square Enix's Gangan Online website in 2009, and ended it in September 2017. Square Enix published seven volumes for the manga. The manga inspired a television anime in 2012. NIS America released the anime on home video.

The manga also inspired a live-action film adaptation in 2013.

Hiiro Akikaze's The Great Cleric (Seija Musō) manga will debut digitally on July 23. Vertical describes the manga:

The manga based on the hit light novel series (Japanese title: Seija Musō), about an ordinary salaryman who cheats death and now must find his way in another world—as a great healer.

Akikaze launched the manga in 2017, and Kodansha published the manga's third volume last October, and will publish the fourth volume on July 9.

The manga is based on Broccoli Lion's Seija Musō: Salaryman, Isekai de Ikiru Tame ni Ayumu Michi (The Great Cleric ~The Path a Salaryman Must Walk to Survive in a Fantasy World~) novels. Broccoli Lion began serializing the story on the "Shōsetsuka ni Narō" (Let's Become Novelists) website in October 2015. Micro Magazine began publishing the novels in print with illustrations by sime in August 2016, and it published the sixth volume on June 29.

Shiba's The Slime Diaries: That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime (Tensura Nikki Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken) manga will debut digitally on July 30. Vertical describes the manga:

Gut-busting 4-panel gag comix based on the smash-hit isekai saga about that guy who got reincarnated as a slime!

Shiba launched the manga in Kodansha's Monthly Shonen Sirius magazine in March 2018, and Kodansha published the manga's second volume on March 29.

The manga is based on Fuse's That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime (Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken) light novel series. Fuse launched the story serially on the "Shōsetsuka ni Narō" (Let's Become Novelists) website from 2013 to 2016. Micro Magazine began publishing the series in print in 2014 with illustrations by Mitz Vah, and the thirteenth volume shipped last September. Taiki Kawakami launched a manga adaptation in Kodansha's Monthly Shonen Sirius magazine in 2015.

The television anime of Taiki Kawakami's manga, premiered last October. Crunchyroll is streaming the series, and FUNimation Entertainment is streaming an English dub. The anime will have a second season.

Yen Press is publishing the original light novels in English, and Kodansha Comics is publishing Taiki Kawakami's manga adaptation. The novels have also inspired several other spinoff manga.

Kenji Saitō and Parabora's Goodbye! I'm Being Reincarnated! (Goodbye! Isekai Tensei) manga will debut digitally on August 6. Vertical describes the manga:

From Trinity Seven creator Kenji Saitō comes anew manga series (Japanese title: Goodbye! Isekai Tensei) about an ordinary high school guy's big chance to become the one true great hero when one day he's greeted by a princess from another world!

Saito and Parabora launched the manga in Kodansha's Shōnen Magazine R in December 2017, and the manga transferred to Kodansha's Monthly Shonen Magazine on February 6. Kodansha shipped the manga's second volume on February 8, and it will ship the third volume will on July 9.

Saito and Akinari Nao launched the Trinity Seven manga in Monthly Dragon Age magazine in 2011. Saito's other ongoing manga is Gishin Eiyuu no Amadeus (Amadeus, Hero of the False God), which Saito launched with artist Ichitaka in Shōnen Magazine R on February 20.

Indo Sō and Takafumi Satō's The Knight Cartoonist and Her Orc Editor (Orc Henshūsha to Onna Kishi Mangaka-san) manga will debut digitally on August 13. Vertical describes the manga:

Reverse otherworld-incarnation hijinx about an orc reborn in this world as ... a manga editor! And the knight who becomes a ... manga artist! If you're looking for a unique insider look into the manga industry, this is it (maybe)!

So and Satō launched the manga in Kodansha's Shonen Magazine Edge in December 2017, and ended it on March 15. Kodansha published the manga's third and final compiled book volume on June 17.
