Ken Saito's Kawaii Hito Manga Ends Serialization in October

posted on by Crystalyn Hodgkins
Romantic comedy manga launched in 2014

The official website for Hakusensha's LaLa DX magazine is listing that Ken Saitō's Kawaii Hito (Cute Person) manga will end in the magazine's November issue on October 10.

The manga's sixth volume had stated in January that the manga will end in the seventh volume, which is slated to ship in winter 2019.

Saito launched the manga in 2014, and the manga has run in Hakusensha's Ane LaLa and LaLa DX magazines. Hakusensha also publishes the manga on its "Hana to Yume Ai" website. The manga has more than 650,000 copies in print, including digital sales.

The romantic comedy manga centers on Hanazono, a florist who has a face like a grim reaper and so many people are afraid of him. Even so, a beautiful college student named Hiyori suddenly confesses to him, and they start dating. Hanazono is confused that anyone would want to date him, but Hiyori is the only one who knows Hanazono's true face.

CMX Manga previously published Saito's The Name of the Flower and Oh! My Brother manga in English.
