The October issue of Kodansha's Monthly Young Magazine revealed on Friday that Hiyoko Kobayashi's Nangoku Sodachi in Okinawa ~Koi no StoRy~ manga will end in the magazine's next issue on October 20.

The manga is an adaptation of Olympia and Heiwa's Nangoku Sodachi pachi-slot game.

Kobayashi launched the manga in Monthly Young Magazine in October 2017.

Kobayashi launched the Hantsu x Trash manga in Weekly Young Magazine in July 2012. Kodansha published the manga's 17th compiled book volume on June 6.

The limited editions of the manga's eighth, 10th, and 11th volumes all bundled OADs when they shipped in October 2015, June 2016, and November 2016, respectively. Kobayashi's earlier manga, Oku-sama wa Joshi Kōsei (My Wife is a High School Girl), inspired an anime in 2005.

Nangoku Sodachi previously inspired a manga by Komusō, which ran in Monthly Young Magazine in 2012. Kodansha published one volume of the manga. The manga remained unfinished due to the author's death on July 22, 2017.

Heiwa's Sengoku Otome pachi-slot game franchise previously inspired the Battle Girls - Time Paradox television anime in 2011. Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired in Japan and Sentai Filmworks released the series on DVD and Blu-ray Disc in 2013.
