Funimation Adds Gravitation, Sweet Blue Flowers, Junjō Romantica, Yakitate!! Japan Anime to Catalog

Funimation announced on Sunday that it would add the following anime from its partnership with Right Stuf and Nozomi Entertainment to its catalog on Monday:
- Gravitation
- Sweet Blue Flowers
- Junjō Romantica Seasons 1 and 2
- Yakitate!! Japan
The Gravitation anime will stream in both English and Japanese with English subtitles in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand.
Funimation describes the series:
Shuichi and Hiro's band, Bad Luck, have just landed a major record deal. But the studio demands are high, and Shuichi craves lyric inspiration. Little does he know that a late-night walk will change the course of his music career—and love life—forever!
Nozomi Entertainment released the Gravitation Complete Blu-ray Collection on September 3. Right Stuf previously released Gravitation on DVD in 2004, and then again in a set in 2006 and 2010. The 13-episode series originally aired in 2000, and the OVA shipped in 1999. The anime is based on Maki Murakami's manga.
Funimation is streaming the Sweet Blue Flowers (Aoi Hana) anime in Japanese with English subtitles in the U.S. and Canada.

Do You Remember Your First Love?
Fumi's always had trouble connecting with other people, but her life has been especially tumultuous as of late. After a decade apart, fortune reunites her with her childhood friend Akira, who's always held a special place in Fumi's heart. But even as they rediscover their friendship, with the start of the new school year, Fumi becomes enamored with a tall, charismatic girl named Sugimoto. Fumi soon finds herself playing a balancing act, between her feelings towards Akira and her newfound desire for Sugimoto.
Nozome Entertainment released the anime on Blu-ray Disc in July 2018. The release marked the first time the series received a Blu-ray Disc release in North America. Right Stuf previously released the anime on DVD in 2013. The 11-episode series premiered in July 2009. Kenichi Kasai (Bakuman, Honey and Clover, Love Stage!!) directed the series at J.C. Staff. The anime is based on Takako Shimura's eight-volume manga of the same name.
Funimation will stream the first two seasons of the Junjō Romantica anime in Japanese with English subtitles in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand.

Junjō Romantica follows the ongoing love lives of three couples. It's complicated to say the least, but oh-so worth it.
Right Stuf previously released Junjō Romantica on Blu-ray Disc in 2017. Right Stuf released the first season of Junjō Romantica on DVD in 2010 and 2014, and released the second season on DVD in 2011 and 2014. Funimation streamed the third season as it aired.
Funimation is streaming the Yakitate!! Japan anime in Japanese with English subtitles in the U.S. and Canada.
The Yakitate!! Japan anime series is based on Takashi Hashiguchi's manga of the same name. Crunchyroll is also streaming the anime, and it describes the story:

The 69-episode anime premiered in 2004. Right Stuf released the series on DVD with English subtitles.
