posted on by Crystalyn Hodgkins
Game to release in 27 European countries in English, German, French

GREE and Wright Flyer Studios announced on Friday that they will release the Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? Memoria Freese smartphone game (also known as DanMachi: Memoria Freese or DanMemo) in Europe with localizations in English, German, and French.

Preregistration is available now on Google Play and the App Store.

The companies plan to release the game in 27 countries, including: Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, and the United Kingdom.

The two companies describe the game:

“DanMemo” is a full-fledged RPG that lets players enjoy not only the stories straight from the original novels, but also includes exclusive stories available only in the game, supervised by the author Fujino Ōmori. The game is fully voiced by voice actors from the anime. Players can enjoy adventures with popular characters such as Bell, Hestia and Ais. Upon starting the game, all new players will get free 4-star units, [Part-Time Goddess] Hestia and [Azure Goddess] Hestia.

Crunchyroll, Sumitomo Corporation, and GREE launched the English-subtitled version of the game in the United States and Canada in March 2018. GREE is managing copyrights and planning, development, and operation for the game, while Crunchyroll and Sumitomo are localizing, distributing, and promoting the game.
