Y.A.P. Ishigaki Production Establishes New GAKIproAstudio in Akita City

New studio will focus on anime backgrounds
Y.A.P. Ishigaki Production founded a new anime studio on October 8 named GAKIproAstudio. The new studio is based in Akita City, and will work primarily on backgrounds for anime. The studio will primarily recruit from students at the local Akita University of Art, and will officially start services in April 2020.
The studio occupies the second floor at a building in Akita's Minamidōri area, and is planned to have at least nine employees by April next year. The studio's eventual goal is to have 20 employees.
Y.A.P. Ishigaki Production was founded in April 1981, and has worked on backgrounds for such anime as Lupin III, Detective Conan, and Soreike! Anpanman.
