Soul Eater Blu-ray Collection Released Monday

On Monday December 2, Manga Entertainment will release a Blu-ray Collector's Edition of the series Soul Eater, containing the 51 episodes across six discs.
Soul Eater follows the adventures of the students that attend the Death Weapon Meister Academy (DWMA), a specialised school run by Shinigami (Rikiya Koyama) to train the next generation of reapers. Maka Albarn (Chiaki Omigawa) is a meister who is paired with Soul Eater (Kōki Uchiyama), a demon scythe and together they hunt down the souls of evil humans and witches alike to ensure order in the world.
Soul Eater was originally a manga created and illustrated by Atsushi Ōkubo and published by Square Enix in Monthly Shonen Gangan magazine from May 2004 to August 2013. The anime adaptation ran for 51 episodes from April 2008, the series was animated at BONES under direction from Takuya Igarashi (Star Driver, Captain Earth) alongside series composition from Akatsuki Yamatoya (Gintama, Heroman). Norifumi Nakamura (Ouran High School Host Club) handled the art direction with Yoshiyuki Ito (Fullmetal Alchemist, Space Dandy) on character designs and Taku Iwasaki (Black Butler, Gurren Lagann) composing the music.
