Ani-One Streams Code Geass, Bananya Anime for '2021 Ani-FAMS Fest'

Hong Kong content distributor MediaLink Entertainment Limited's Ani-One YouTube channel announced on Facebook on Thursday that it will stream the Code Geass television anime and the short television anime adaptation of Q-LiA's Bananya banana cat mascot character as part of its 2021 Ani-FAMS fest. Bananya will stream at 2:30 p.m. IST on Friday, and Code Geass will stream at 6:00 p.m. IST on Friday.
Alongside India and Hong Kong, the anime will stream in Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Maldives, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, and Singapore.
The Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion television series premiered in 2006, followed by a sequel series in 2008. The series has inspired various manga and original video anime, including the Code Geass: Akito the Exiled spinoff, which premiered in 2012. Netflix is also streaming the anime in India. The company is also streaming the Code Geass: Lelouch of the Re;surrection anime film and the Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion film trilogy on its streaming platform.
The anime based on Q-LiA's Bananya banana cat mascot character premiered on TV Saitama in July 2016. Q-LiA launched the Bananya mascot character in 2015.
Kyō Yatate (Sockie's Frontier Quest) directed the anime at TMS Entertainment and Gathering. Yatate also scripted and produced the anime alongside Masahiro Takata (Super Seisyun Brothers director, scriptwriter).
A new anime adaptation based on the character titled Bananya: Fushigi na Nakamatachi (Bananya: Wondrous Friends) aired in 2019.
