Muse Asia Streams Armed Girls Machiavellism OVA on YouTube
posted on by Adriana Hazra
Muse Asia began streaming the original video anime (OVA) adapted from Karuna Kanzaki and Yūya Kurokami's Armed Girl's Machiavellism (Busō Shōjo Machiavellism) manga on YouTube on Friday.
Alongside India, the anime is streaming in Bangladesh, Brunei, Bhutan, Indonesia, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Malaysia, Nepal, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.
Muse Asia describes the OVA:
Disappointed by how all members of the Supreme Five Swords were single-handedly taken out by the Empress, the headmistress ordered the Five Swords to a recreational trip to strengthen their bonds. Apparently, there are some extra budget to accommodate an extra sixth person on the trip. Both Rin and Mary wanted Nomura to be sixth person, but there may be some hurdles on making that a reality.
The OVA shipped on Blu-ray Disc bundled with the seventh manga volume in November 2017.
The Armed Girls Machiavellism anime premiered in Japan on AT-X in April 2017. Kanzaki launched the manga series based on Kurokami's story in Kadokawa's Monthly Shonen Ace magazine in March 2014.
Hideki Tachibana (BlazBlue Alter Memory, Dragon Crisis!, H2O ~Footprints in the Sand~) directed the anime at the studio Silver Link (Ange Vierge, Dusk maiden of Amnesia). Kento Shimoyama (Bleach, Naruto Spin-Off: Rock Lee & His Ninja Pals, Servant × Service) supervised the series scripts, and Shoko Takimoto (BONJOUR Sweet Love Patisserie, Chaos Dragon, Senran Kagura: Estival Versus - Festival Eve Full of Swimsuits) designed the characters. Team-Max's Hiromi Mizutani (Hell Girl, Non Non Biyori, Toriko) composed the music at Nippon Columbia.
Miku Itō performed the opening theme song "Shocking Blue." Five of the anime's cast members (Rin's Yūki Takada, Mary's Sayaka Kitahara, Satori's Nozomi Nishida, Warabi's Rina Hidaka, Tsukuyo's Natsumi Hioka) performed the ending theme song "Decide" under the unit name "Tenka Goken" (Five Ruling Swords).
