Future Diary Blu-ray Released Monday

On Monday July 26, Anime Limited will release a Blu-ray Collectors Edition of Mirai Nikki (Future Diary), carrying the 26 TV episodes and also the OAV Redial episode.

Anime Limited describes the series:

'Yukiteru Amano is a high school student who keeps himself to himself, and makes up for his lonely everyday existence by writing a diary on his mobile phone and conversing with his imaginary friend, the so-called "God of Time and Space" known as Deus Ex Machina. But what if this imaginary friend was real? This unlikely turn of events becomes a reality for Yuki when the tables are turned and Deus Ex Machina selects him as a participant in a "battle royale" with eleven other individuals. Every competitor in this deadly game is provided with a "Future Diary", each of which gives its owner a unique view of the world and, more importantly, a specific viewpoint into events that have yet to transpire.'

Naoto Hosoda (Shuffle!, Koe de Oshigoto!) directed the anime at the anime studio asread. Katsuhiko Takayama (Baka and Test - Summon the Beasts, Cat Planet Cuties) supervised the series scripts, and Hidetsugu Hirayama (Shuffle!, Shuffle! Memories) designed the characters with Ruriko Watanabe.

MVM will release Lord El-Melloi II's Case Files: Rail Zeppelin Grace note on Blu-ray. MVM describes the series:

"Waver Velvet from Fate/Zero returns as Lord El-Melloi II to a world of magical mystery and intrigue. Years after the Fourth Holy Grail War of Fate/Zero, Waver Velvet—the boy who fought alongside Iskandar, the King of Conquerors—has assumed the title Lord El Melloi II. In this position, he takes on myriad magical and mystical mysteries for the Clock Tower, the mecca of the magecraft world."

Makoto Katō (Beautiful Bones -Sakurako's Investigation-, Bloom Into You) directed the series at TROYCA. Ukyō Kodachi (Chaos Dragon, Boruto: Naruto Next Generations) was in charge of series composition. Jun Nakai (GATE, Silver Spoon) designed the characters. Ei Aoki (Fate/Zero director) was credited as supervisor.

Anime Limited will release the soundtrack to the first season of the anime series BEASTARS, as a 3 x 12" LP vinyl set. There are 48 tracks over the three LPs. It also contains a 124-page art book and a poster. There will also be a CD edition of the soundtrack.

Funimation will release Dragon Ball Z Season 9 as a Limited Edition Steelbook and a standard DVD, carrying episodes 254 to 291.
