Company begins move in November

Imagica Group announced that it will begin transferring its video production services from Higashigotanda in Shinagawa to Takeshiba Media Studio in Takeshiba in Minato in November.

The company will move sound and media division equipment in early November, color grading equipment and editing-related equipment in mid-November, the second preview room in early December, and the first preview room in early January 2022. The head office and sales office will relocate to Takeshiba Media Studio in mid-December.

Imagica is relocating its head office due to the redevelopment plan that is underway around the current offices in Higashigotanda. The company aims to effectively utilize real estate, revitalize human resources by improving the office environment, and improve productivity with this move.

IMAGICA Lab., which was in Gotanda, will move to Higashishinagawa.

Imagica Group's main office is located in Uchisaiwaicho in Chiyoda.

Imagica Group established IMAGICA Lab., a company formed by the merger of its subsidiaries Imagica, Imagica West, and IMAGICA Image Works is "IMAGICA Lab." in October 2018 as part of the holding company's restructuring.

Imagica Robot Holdings restructured in October 2018, and changed its name to Imagica Group. The holding company was established with the name Imagica Robot Holdings after a merger between the Imagica and Robot video production companies in 2006.

Imagica Group's subsidiary Oriental Light and Magic (OLM), the anime studio for Pokémon, and several other firms established a venture capital fund for media content in March. Imagica Group acquired OLM in 2015.

Imagica Robot Holdings also previously partnered with Sumitomo Corporation and the Cool Japan Fund in 2015 to acquire SDI Media, a Los Angeles-based post-production firm that specializes in localizing foreign media.
