Yukari Takinami Launches New Manga on Kodansha's New Site

Kodansha announced on Monday on Twitter and in the December issues of its Kiss and Afternoon magazines that it is launching a new manga website "&Sofa" that will debut on November 22. Yukari Takinami (Ex-Enthusiasts: Motokare Mania) will launch a new manga titled Watashitachi wa Mutsū Renai ga Shitai ~Kagiaka Joshi to Hoshikuzu Danshi to Femi Ojisan (We Want a Painless Romance ~Private Account Girl and Stardust Boy and Feminine Uncle) on the website.
The story centers on Minami, who can only express her true feelings through a private social media account, a good-looking boy who was previously treated roughly by his girlfriend, and an older male "feminine uncle" who appears.
The &Sofa website will also debut with the following manga: Buzu Nante Iwaranaide by Aruko Toaru, Fudо̄-san no Uraaka Katsudо̄ by Shiki Fujimine, and Fūfu de Tsukuru Mental Anzen Kichi ~"Rikon-suru Hodo Ja Nai Kedo Nanka Moyamoya-suru" wo Herashite Jizokukanо̄ wa Fūfu ni Naru~ by Borisat Fukkura. The website will also feature the column Iki Zurakute Shinisо̄ Datta Kara, Iroiro Yatte Mimashita by Artesia. Michi Ichiho is also writing a short story titled "Sofa &" for the website.

&Sofa will update on Mondays at 12:00 p.m. JST.
Takinami launched the Ex-Enthusiasts: Motokare Mania (Motokare Mania) manga in Kiss in June 2017, and ended it in March. Kodansha published the manga's sixth compiled book volume on May 13. Kodansha Comics is releasing the manga in English, and it published the sixth volume in English on October 12.
The manga inspired a live-action television series adaptation in October 2019.
