Shogo Aoki's Blood Doom Manga Ends

posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda
Manga's 2nd volume ships in January

The December issue of Kadokawa's Monthly Dragon Age magazine published the final chapter of Shōgo Aoki's Blood Doom manga on Tuesday. The manga's second compiled book volume will ship in January.

The manga centers on high schooler Shū Hiiragi, a boy who gets involved in an incident with a werewolf, but is saved by a beautiful but mysterious vampire girl named Wilhelmina Harker. Wilhelmina is able to wield guns and her fists to fight werewolves toe to toe.

Aoki launched the manga in Monthly Dragon Age in December 2020. Kadokawa published the manga's first volume on May 8.

Aoki is drawing the Goblin Slayer Side Story II: Dai Katana manga, which is based on Kumo Kagyu's serialized Goblin Slayer Gaiden 2: Tsubanari no Daikatana (Daikatana of Singing Death) novel, a spinoff of Kagyu's main Goblin Slayer novel series. The manga launched in Square Enix's Manga UP! app in August 2019. The series then debuted in Square Enix's Gangan GA online magazine. Yen Press licensed the manga and released the first volume on March 30.
