Hong Kong content distributor MediaLink Entertainment Limited's Ani-One YouTube channel announced on Friday that it will begin streaming the television anime of TNSK's My Master Has No Tail (Uchi no Shishō wa Shippo ga Nai) manga on September 30 at 8:30 p.m. IST.

Ani-One describes the anime:

Mameda, a tanuki girl who dreams of becoming human, transforms her appearance into a pretty human girl and heads to the bustling city Osaka. However, a beautiful woman Bunko instantly sees through Mameda's guise. Bunko is a rakugo master and she shows how to cast magic on humans only with words, not illusions. After that, Mameda begs Bunko to become her teacher. The Taisho Era rakugo fantasy now begins!

The anime will premiere on Tokyo MX on September 30, on MBS on October 1, on BS Asahi on October 2, and on AT-X on October 4.

Hideyo Yamamoto (Strike the Blood, The Prince of Tennis II, Cells at Work! Code Black) is directing the anime at LIDEN FILMS. Touko Machida (Lucky Star, The IDOLM@STER) is supervising the series scripts and writing them with Kei Shimobayashi, Aya Satsuki, and Yūho Togashi. Ryō Yamauchi (Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress: The Battle of Unato sub-sharacter designs) is serving as both character designer and chief animation director. GARNiDELiA performs the anime's opening theme song "Genai Yūgi" (Fleeting Love Game). Hinano performs the ending theme song "Virginia."
