Edinburgh Scotland Loves Anime Screenings Transfer to Cameo Picturehouse Cinema

posted on by Andrew Osmond
All screenings will take place on same days and times, but seats will be unallocated

Following the news that the Edinburgh Filmhouse cinema had stopped trading last week, the Scotland Loves Anime festival has announced that the Edinburgh leg of the event will relocate to Edinburgh's Cameo Picturehouse cinema in Home Street (map), a walk of around seven minutes from the Filmhouse.

According to the announcement, all of the previously announced screenings in Edinburgh will take place on the same dates and times as previously announced, from October 24 to 30. All tickets that have been already purchased will be transferred to the new veune. Customers will need to give proof of purchase for their existing tickets in order to receive updated ones. The remaining tickets for the screenings will go on sale from Friday.

Seats at the Cameo Picturehouse will be unallocated.

Customers who have bought tickets but have requested a refund from their credit card company are asked to confirm that at the following email address: [email protected]

The announcement adds that the situation has been challenging for the festival, as venue hire fees and ticket sales are currently with the administrators. The festival has opened a donation page where fans can support the event.
