Burst Angel Blu-ray Released on Monday

posted on by Andrew Osmond
Also, MVM will release Blu-rays of the third season of Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?, and the third Girls und Panzer das Finale film

On Monday October 31, MVM will release a Collector's Blu-ray of the 2004 Studio Gonzo series Burst Angel, including the 24 TV episodes and the OVA. It will contain six art cards.

MVM describes the story:

"The future's looking bleak. It's a good thing there's a new sheriff in town. Her name is Jo and she's an enigma even to herself. Alongside her partners Sei, Amy, and Meg, Jo fights for the citizens who can't defend themselves. The girls confront RAPT, a corrupt organization oppressing people on the street. They take on the secret labs that use science to create monsters out of organic matter and machines. In a city where everyone's packing heat, these gals are on fire and they're the best chance the wounded city's got."

MVM will also release Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? III, the third TV season of Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?. It will include five artcards and a 56-page booklet.

MVM describes the story:

"The rules of the Dungeon always seemed simple: Enter, avoid traps, kill monsters and gather treasure. But when Bell rescues a young vouivre, Wiene, who is capable of speaking, it changes his understanding of what the Dungeon's monsters could be."

Finally, MVM will release an MVM of the third Girls und Panzer das Finale, which will include the OVA episode The Diakon War.

While some retailers are listing Anime Limited's The Irresponsible Captain Tylor TV series as another October 31 release, it was released on October 24, and is included in the corrected entry for that date.
