Blood-C: The Last Dark Blu-ray Released Monday

On Monday March 20, Anime Limited will release a Blu-ray edition of the feature film Blood-C: The Last Dark, directed by Naoyoshi Shiotani (Psycho-Pass). This film is the sequel to the preceding Blood-C TV series, which will have a separate Blu-ray edition from Anime Limited in April. Both the Blood-C series and the subsequent film were animated by Production I.G
Anime Limited describes the story:
"Saya is part human, part monster, and has one thing on her mind: revenge. Visions of twisted experiments and creatures slaughtering everyone she loved fuel her thirst for vengeance. With blade in hand and rage boiling in her veins, she tracks her tormentor to Tokyo, where flesh-hungry beasts have begun to feed. There, she joins a group of young hackers hunting for the same man."
Anime Limited will also release a Collector's Blu-ray edition of the second half of the series Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Destiny, carrying episodes 26 to 50 of the HD Remaster version of the series. It will also contain a 48-page booklet, and on-disc extras will include "Director's Concept Music Videos," "Gundam Seed Destiny Character Theater Shorts," and the textless openings and closings for the series.
