Muse Asia Streams Dark Gathering, 'My Unique Skill Makes Me OP even at Level 1,' 2 More Anime in India

Muse Asia announced on Friday that it will stream:

  • The second cours (quarter of a year) of the television anime of Miri Mikawa and aki's Sugar Apple Fairy Tale light novel series on July 7 at 6:05 p.m. IST.

  • The television anime of Nazuna Miki and Subachi's My Unique Skill Makes Me OP even at Level 1 (Level 1 dakedo Unique Skill de Saikyō desu) light novel series on July 8 at 7:00 p.m. IST.

  • The television anime of Kenichi Kondo's Dark Gathering manga on July 9 at 10:35 p.m. IST.

  • The Devil Is a Part-Timer! (with two exclamation points), the sequel anime based on Satoshi Wagahara's The Devil Is a Part-Timer! light novel series, on July 13 at 8:05 p.m. IST.

Muse Asia will stream all four titles in Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, Vietnam, and Pakistan alongside India. Sugar Apple Fairy Tale, My Unique Skill Makes Me OP even at Level 1, and Dark Gathering will also stream in Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, the Philippines, and Singapore. Sugar Apple Fairy Tale will additionally stream in Thailand. Dark Gathering will stream in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand a month after its premiere. My Unique Skill Makes Me OP even at Level 1 will stream in Indonesia and Thailand a month after its premiere.

The second cours of Sugar Apple Fairy Tale will premiere on July 7. The first cours premiered on January 6 and ended on March 24. Muse Asia streamed the the series in India as it aired in Japan. Crunchyroll is also streaming the anime in India.

Youhei Suzuki (Urara Meirocho, Planet With, Kiyo in Kyoto: From the Maiko House) is directing the anime at J.C.Staff. Seishi Minakami (A Certain Scientific Railgun, Occult Academy, No. 6) is in charge of series composition. Haruko Iizuka (Umi Monogatari, School-Live!, Horimiya) is designing the characters for animation. Hinako Tsubakiyama (Sabikui Bisco) is composing the music. Flying Dog is credited for music production.

Writer Mikawa and artist Aki launched the novels in April 2010, and ended the series in the 17th volume in February 2015. Alto Yukimura published a two-volume manga adaptation of the novels on Hakusensha's Hana to Yume Online website from 2013 to 2014. Yozora no Udon launched the novels' second manga adaptation in Kadokawa's Young Ace magazine in November 2021. Yen Press is releasing chapters of the manga in English simultaneously with the Japanese release, and will also release the manga in print. Yen Press has licensed both the original light novel series and Yozora no Udon's manga adaptation.

My Unique Skill Makes Me OP even at Level 1 will premiere on July 8 on Tokyo MX and BS NTV, and will then air on AT-X on July 9.

Yūji Yanase (By the Grace of the Gods) is directing the series at MAHO FILM. Yuka Yamada (Tokyo Mew Mew New) is in charge of the series composition. Miyako Nishida (In Another World With My Smartphone), Eri Kojima (In the Land of Leadale), Kaho Deguchi (If It's for My Daughter, I'd Even Defeat a Demon Lord), and Yūko Ōba (I'm the Villainess, So I'm Taming the Final Boss) are the main character designers. Endō. is composing the music. Airi Miyakawa is performing the ending theme song "Tamborine no Naru Oka" (The Tambourine-Ringing Hill).

Miki debuted the series on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō (Let's Be Novelists) website in February 2017. Miki and Subachi launched the light novel series in September 2017. Mawata's manga adaptation debuted on Kodansha's "Suiyōbi no Sirius" website in May 2018. Kodansha USA Publishing licensed both the light novel series and the manga adaptation. The series has exceeded a cumulative total of 1.1 million copies in circulation.

Dark Gathering will premiere on Tokyo MX on July 9 at 25:05 (effectively July 10 at 1:05 a.m.). The show will then air on BS Asahi and Kansai TV later that night.

Hiroshi Ikehata (FLCL Progressive, Kiratto Pri☆Chan, Space Battleship Tiramisu) is directing the anime at OLM. Shigeru Murakoshi (I'm Quitting Heroing, Zombie Land Saga) is overseeing the series scripts, and Shin'ya Segawa (Pastel Memories, Garakowa -Restore the World-) is the character designer. Kohta Yamamoto, Shun Narita, and Yūsuke Seo are composing the music. Other staff members include Taijirō Nagata as art director, Yuho Ando as director of photography, Takahiro Uezono as 3D director, Ritsuko Utagawa as color designer, and Kōhei Yoshida as sound director.

Kondō (Cheer Danshi!! GO BREAKERS manga) launched the manga in Shueisha's Jump SQ. magazine in March 2019. Viz Media is releasing the manga in English.

The The Devil Is a Part-Timer! sequel will premiere on July 13 on the TOKYO MX and BS11 channels at 11:30 p.m. (10:30 a.m. EDT).

The staff titles the sequel series as a "2nd season," but this is only in reference to the The Devil Is a Part-Timer! (with two exclamation points) series (as opposed to the first The Devil is a Part-Timer! anime series, which only has one exclamation point). The upcoming July series will be the third overall television anime season for the franchise.

The Devil Is a Part-Timer! premiered in July 2022. The anime also started streaming in Japan exclusively on Disney+ on the same day and time as the broadcast premiere. Muse Asia streamed the anime in India as it aired in Japan. The first television anime adaptation premiered in 2013.

Wagahara launched the light novels with illustrations by 029 in 2011. Hiiragi's manga adaptation launched in Kadokawa's Monthly Comic Dengeki Daioh magazine in December 2011. Kurone Mishima drew another manga spinoff called Hataraku Maou-sama! High School! in Kadokawa's Dengeki Maoh magazine from 2012 to 2015. Yen Press also published all five volumes of the manga. The ComicWalker website launched a gourmet-themed manga spinoff titled Hataraku Maou-sama no Meshi! in August 2021. Oji Sadō is drawing the manga. The manga adapts the latest spinoff volume in the light novel series, which also has the same title. The novel volume shipped in February 2019. Yen Press publishes both the original light novels and Akio Hiiragi's manga adaptation.
