Classroom of the Elite U.K. Blu-ray Released Monday

On Monday October 2, Crunchyroll will release the first season of Classroom of the Elite on Blu-ray. The story takes place at Kōdo Ikusei Senior High School, a leading prestigious school with state-of-the-art facilities where nearly 100% of students go on to university or find employment. The students there have the freedom to wear any hairstyle and bring any personal effects they desire. Kōdo Ikusei is a paradise-like school, but the truth is that only the most superior of students receive favorable treatment.

Seiji Kishi (Assassination Classroom, Persona 4 The Animation, Yuki Yuna Is a Hero) and Hiroyuki Hashimoto (Magical Girl Raising Project, both seasons of Is the order a rabbit?) are directing the series at studio Lerche. Aoi Akashiro (Fuuka, KonoSuba – God’s blessing on this wonderful world!!) is handling the series composition, and Kazuaki Morita (Tsuki ga Kirei, Danganronpa The Animation, Assassination Classroom) is designing the characters. Minami (Infinite Stratos, Medaka Box) is performing the show's ending theme song "Beautiful Soldier."

Crunchyroll will also release a Blu-ray of The Girl from the Other Side. This is the feature-length anime version of Nagabe's The Girl from the Other Side: Siúil, a Rún manga.

Seven Seas is releasing the manga in English, and it describes the story:

"In a world split between the Inside and the Outside, those living in both realms are told never to cross over to the other side, lest they be cursed. A young girl named Shiva lives on the other side, in a vacant village with a demonic guardian known only as “Teacher.” Although the two are forbidden to touch, they seem to share a bond that transcends their disparate appearances. But when Shiva leaves Teacher's care to seek out her grandmother, the secret behind her mysterious living arrangement comes to light."

The anime stars Jun Fukuyama as Teacher and Rie Takahashi as Shiva. Yūtarō Kubo and Satomi Maiya are returning from the previous anime to direct, write the script, and design the characters, respectively. Schroeder-Headz is again composing the music, and Shōji Hata is returning as sound director.

Crunchyroll will all release the series Shinobi no Ittoki on Blu-ray. Crunchyroll has previously described the anime:

"Ittoki Sakuraba was an ordinary student, until his life was turned upside down! He finds out that he is the 19th heir of the famous Iga Ninjas. The Iga must try to defend what is theirs from the Koga, a rivaling clan seeking to end Ittoki's life. Ittoki is left with no choice but to become a shinobi that's strong enough to not only protect himself, but also his village. Now a student at Kokuten Ninja Academy, a high school specializing in shinobi techniques, Ittoki learns the way of the modern-day ninja, equipped with high-tech suits and gadgets. Together with students from other villages, Ittoki clashes with the Koga in an attempt to end the rivalry once and for all."

Shuu Watanabe (Aldnoah.Zero, Re:CREATORS, IDOLiSH7) directed the anime, and Minato Takano (live-action Kakegurui, Keep Your Hands Off Eizouken!, Guilty Flag) was in charge of the series scripts. Isamu Suzuki (IDOLiSH7, Bloom Into You) designed the characters and served as chief animation director. TOMISIRO (Detective Conan: Zero's Tea Time, Macross Delta, The Dragon Dentist) composed the music. Both TROYCA and DMM Pictures were credited with the original planning for the series, and TROYCA was animating. The musical act hockrockb is performing the ending theme song "Oboetate."
