Anime Cinema Screenings in Ireland Start on Thursday

Screenings around the country include Lonely Castle in the Mirror and Komada - A Whisky Family

The Japanese Film Festival in Ireland includes several anime screenings around the country from Thursday April 11. Tickets are available at the festival link.

Lonely Castle in the Mirror (pictured right), the fantasy film directed by Keiichi Hara - Screening at Triskel Arts Centre (Cork) at 5 p.m. on Thursday April 11

Belltable (Limerick) at 2.30 p.m. on Saturday April 13

Light House Cinema (Smithfield, Dublin) at 5 p.m. on Saturday April 13

Pálás (Galway) at 6 p.m. on Saturday April 13

Garter Lane Arts Centre (Co. Waterford) at 7.30 p.m. on Saturday April 13

An Táin Arts Centre (Dundalk, Co Louth) at 8 p.m. on Saturday April 27.

There will also be screenings of two other films at An Táin Arts Centre (Dundalk, Co Louth). Takehiko Inoue's sports film The First Slam Dunk will be shown at Saturday April 27 at 2.30 p.m. and Yuzuru Tachikawa's jazz drama film Blue Giant will also be shown on April 27, at 5 p.m.
