Neofilms Posts Chinese-Subtitled Trailer for My Next Life as a Villainess Anime Film

Hong Kong film distributor Neofilms began streaming an English- and Chinese-subtitled trailer for the movie of Satoru Yamaguchi and Nami Hidaka's My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom! (Otome Game no Hametsu Flag Shika Nai Akuyaku Reijō ni Tensei Shiteshimatta...) light novels on Wednesday. The film will open in Hong Kong on May 16.
Original light novel author Satoru Yamaguchi wrote the original story for the film. Returning staff members include director Keisuke Inoue, writers Megumi Shimizu and Megumu Sasano, character designer Miwa Oshima, and animation studio SILVER LINK.
The new cast for the film includes (character name spellings not confirmed):
- Kenshō Ono as Aaquil
- Ayumu Murase as Qumit
- Akari Kitō as Nashitt
- Reina Ueda as Haati
- Yōko Hikasa as Alqus
- Rie Kugimiya as Piyo
The anime premiered in April 2020. Animax Asia aired a simulcast of the anime as it aired in Japan. The second season, titled My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom! X, premiered in July 2021, and Animax Asia again aired a simulcast for the anime.
