Viz Media Signs New Broadcast Deals in Latin America

San Francisco, CA, August 22, 2006 - Viz Media, LLC (Viz Media), one of
the entertainment industry's most innovative and comprehensive
publishing, animation and licensing companies has closed deals with
three of the largest terrestrial television companies in Latin America
for two animated series from Japan: NARUTO and ZATCH BELL!. America TV
(Peru) has acquired 52 episodes each of ZATCH BELL! and NARUTO ; TV
Globo (Brazil) has acquired 52 episodes of ZATCH BELL! and Televideo
Services picked up 52 episodes each of ZATCH BELL! and NARUTO for
Guatemala, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador,
Paraguay,
and Honduras.

NARUTO, a ratings sensation on Cartoon Network in the U.S. since its
debut in September 2005, is targeted at kids ages 9-14. Action-packed
and filled with suspense and humor, the show features Uzumaki Naruto -
a
mischievous misfit struggling to develop his ninja skills, and with a
little help from his friends, he just might become head ninja one day.

ZATCH BELL! is an action adventure series where kids 6-11 witness the
ultimate battle of 100 mamodo! Teamed up with human partners and
mysterious spell books, Zatch and his mamodo friends unleash their
magic
spells to try to become king of the mamodo world.
