TORRANCE, Calif., July 20, 2007 – Bandai Visual USA Inc., a leading innovator in Japanese animation, today announced it has launched dot-anime (www.dot-anime.us), a site dedicated to bringing anime directly to fans via the Internet.

dot-anime is a North American version of the successful Japanese site www.dot-anime.com, where anime fans can watch more than 400 titles and 4,000 episodes of anime, download thousands of anime songs and purchase anime DVDs and CDs.

The site will also offer information, sweepstakes and other promotions. Anime fans who register on the site before August 1, 2007, will be eligible to win an HD DVD player and collectible items signed by noted anime creators, as well as 200 bonus points as part of a point-prize program on the site.

Anime enthusiasts can purchase Bandai Visual USA and Broccoli DVDs, Broccoli books and manga, apparel and character merchandise on the site. Periodically, consumers who make purchases on the site will receive exclusive Dot-Anime gifts-with-purchase.

The site has launched its initial phase, with multimedia content expected to be added this fall.
