GDH to Start Webcast of "GON TUBE" on YouTube

Voice actors bringing the latest GONZO news in the exclusive online program

2008.02.29

GDH K.K. (Head Office: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Shinichirō Ishikawa, Securities Code: TSE Mothers 3755, hereinafter GDH) has announced that it will produce an original program GON TUBE for exclusive webcast through its official YouTube Japan channel GONZO DOGA. The service will start on February 29, 2008, introducing TV broadcast info and special footages from new titles.

Since its launch within YouTube Japan in June 2007, GONZO DOGA (http://jp.YouTube.com/user/GONZODOGA - Japanese only) has been providing latest video content such as promotional footage of animation titles by GONZO K.K. and other GDH group companies. YouTube Japan is the Japanese service of YouTube, a popular website that allows users to view and share their original video files worldwide on the Internet.

Featuring Nana Kana, a voice actor duo consisting of Nana Inoue and Kanako Sakai from RAMS K.K. (Head Office: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Satoshi Kashimura, hereinafter RAMS), GON TUBE will provide information on GONZO titles with staff and cast interviews as well as updates on new and best-selling GONZO items at GONZO's official online store GONZO STYLE*. In addition to the features mentioned above, GON TUBE will continue harnessing its content in the future by creating and distributing GON TUBE-original merchandise and also streaming the program partially via GONZO MOBILE**, a mobile website operated by GONZO Rosso K.K. GON TUBE will be updated every Friday to bring the latest news to anime fans.

GDH has been utilizing popular video sharing websites in its promotional activities since 2007. By starting a new program with high-profile voice actors, it aims to expand the scope of visitors to GONZO DOGA while cultivating a new consumer segment at the same time. By bringing together its video content and related merchandise in the same program, GDH also hopes to maximize the synergistic effect derived from such crossing of business fields.
