March Break Manga at Little Island Comics
Eric Kim Teaches Youth Manga Workshops at Little Island Comics from March 11th to March 15th
TORONTO, ON – Feb 15, 2013 - This March Break, artist Eric Kim will be offering his Manga Mondays classes as a one-week workshop for kids ages 10 to 14. Classes will run Monday to Friday (March 11th through 15th), followed by a book launch for the new creations produced in class on Sunday March 17th.
We are offering two timeslots: kids can either attend the morning classes (10am to 12pm) or the afternoon (1pm-3pm). Art materials and light snacks are provided.

ABOUT ERIC KIM: Eric Kim is a professional comic artist and illustrator. His credits include Love as a Foreign Language, Degrassi: The Next Generation Vol. 3, Battle Academy, The Sidesteppers, Streta, and most recently, The Complete Plays of William Shakespeare. He has worked for numerous book and editorial clients across North America as well as Japan. His next book, Billy Smoke, will be coming from Oni Press.
Eric Kim currently teaches manga workshops for teens and youths every Saturday at the Miles Nadal Jewish Community Centre. He's spoken at a number of libraries and schools throughout Ontario, and enjoys helping students develop their thoughts and voices.
