Anime Consortium Japan Inc., the Japanese company for official anime streaming is excited to announce the streaming of Gundam: The Origin, the latest anime OVA series of the popular Gundam franchise.
About Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin:
Episode 1 “Blue-Eyed Casval”
Universal Century 0068, Side 3 – The Autonomous Republic of Munzo. Zeon Zum Deikun attempts to declare complete independence of Munzo from the Earth Federation Government, while he preaches the evolutionary potential of humans who have advanced into outer space. Deikun however suddenly falls to his death in the middle of his speech at parliament.
Upon Deikun's death, Jimba Ral spreads word of a House of Zabi conspiracy – but despite such efforts the power and sphere of influence of House of Zabi, led by Degwin Sodo Zabi, only seem to escalate.
While we witness for the first time the untold convulsions of Universal Century history, Casval and Artesia, just bereaved of their father, must face destinies which will be just as tumultuous as the very era itself.
Created by Yoshikazu Yasuhiko, character designer and animation director for the 1979 TV hit “MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM”; “MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM THE ORIGIN” is a mega-hit manga boasting a total of 10-million copies printed. The manga is now being adapted to an anime, which is produced by Sunrise Inc.

Streaming will start on the anime streaming platform DAISUKI ( http://www.DAISUKI.net ) on February 28 (JST) and will be offered as a premium streaming (paid). Available languages will be Japanese and English dub; selectable subtitles include English, French, Korean, Traditional Chinese (Taiwan), Traditional Chinese (Hong Kong) and Simplified Chinese.
Gundam: The Origin will be available world-wide (except of Japan and China). Further details about the premium streaming will be announced on the website.
Furthermore, starting on February 4, users can pre-order the physical release Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin Volume 1 Blu-ray Disc Collector's Edition (Export Version). This limited special version comes with full of gorgeous bonus features with Japanese and English audio, and with subtitles in various languages and will be released on April 24, 2015. Pre-oders will be accepted from worldwide.
