PacSet Announces Animated Spring and Lost Islands II Tours for 2016!
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: PacSet Tours is proud to announce their next two tours for the 2016 season: the return of the popular anime-themed "Animated Spring" tour and the "Lost Islands II" tour to the remote Ogasawara Islands.
Going into its fifth year, Animated Spring has become one of the most popular and well-reviewed anime-themed Japan tours on the market, selling out far before the tour's signup deadline for two years in a row. For the tour's fifth anniversary, the tour will be adding a second free day in the Tokyo area, a new extension to Hakone, and more time in popular otaku hotspots like Ikebukuro and Akihabara. The tour also offers a 5 day, 4 night extended trip to the Kansai Area, where guests will visit anime-themed shopping arcades in Osaka and Kobe, explore the temples and shrines of Kyoto and picnic with the locals at a party under the blooming cherry blossoms.
PacSet also announced Lost Islands II, a trip to the tropical, remote Ogasawara Islands. Awarded the designation of "World Heritage Site" by UNESCO in 2011, Ogasawara features white sandy beaches, historical sites from World War II, and numerous plant and animal species found nowhere else. After making their first trip to the islands in 2013, PacSet remains the only North American tour company to offer a tour to Ogasawara.
