SaikouCon Brings in Avocado Games as Featured Guest for SaikouCon 2016

Avocado Games bringing many surprises to SaikouCon 2016, including an amped up Party Heroes

4/15/16 Lake Harmony, PA – SaikouCon, which means "best convention", is the large scale, annual anime convention of the Pocono Mountains. Boasting a dedicated staff of longtime Japanese anime and manga fans, SaikouCon is excited to be the only large scale annual convention dedicated exclusively to anime, manga, and Japanese culture and pop culture in this area of Northeast Pennsylvania. The convention grew out of web magazine Anime Ate My Brain Magazine; the sibling to music focused web magazine, Tastes Like Rock! Music Magazine. Both journalistic endeavors fall under the publishing wing of Nerdy Rock 'n Roller Productions.

The convention promises to remain very hands on and attendee friendly every year, while also maintaining a safe atmosphere for attendees to enjoy the convention to their carefree fullest. As always, Cosplay =/= Consent is a very important issue to the staff of SaikouCon, and the same rules and regulations that made SaikouCon 2013, 2014, and 2015 safe havens for cosplayers will be enforced just as strictly at SaikouCon 2016. SaikouCon 2016 will feature many diverse and entertaining panels, workshops, activities, events, screenings, gaming tournaments, and much more!

Joining SaikouCon as a Featured Guest for 2016 is Avocado Games! Avocado Games is a game production company with several releases to date and several more coming between now and SaikouCon 2016. Avocado Games is the company behind Party Heroes, the game that conquered the halls of SaikouCon 2015, combining elements of tabletop games and LARPing. Avocado Games is returning this year with a new and improved Party Heroes tournament. Once again going all out all weekend, they will be giving certificates and prizes for a final match at 5pm on Friday and Saturday, and then at closing ceremony on Sunday. Join them in the board game room (courtesy of fellow Featured Guests,The Gamer's Edge) for games, final showdowns and more. For more from Avocado Games Like them on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/AvocadoGames and keep an eye on their website at http://www.avocado-games.com.

While family friendly, SaikouCon is largely PG-13 so tweens and little ones need accompaniment. Don't forget to look into SaikouCon's Group Rates.
